GELOUS OF MY NAILS?

Hi beauties! So recently, I was browsing around on Pinterest and I discovered a miracle. How many of you pay so much to get shellac put on your nails? Yea, all of you! Luckily, I am about to give you the products to use so you never have to pay a fortune again!
What is great about this "homemade" shellac recipe is that you can use ANY color polish your heart desires. How amazing is that!
The key polish in this is the green topped one: GELOUS: ADVANCED NAIL GEL COAT. You can find it at any Sally's Beauty Store and it is only around $5.00! Also Don't forget to pick your favorite color polish and your top coat. I recommend OUT THE DOOR Top Coat. This is a very glossy and fast drying polish. Now that you are set... let's go over the process (yayyayay):
BEFORE EVERYTHING: SWIPE YOUR NAILS WITH NAIL POLISH REMOVER TO GET ANY OILS OFF YOUR NAILS. THIS WILL GIVE BEST RESULTS!
Step 1: Apply two thin coats of Gelous. However, make sure you let them dry for about 5 minutes in between each coat.
Step 2: Paint your color on your nails. Be sure to get the top and edge of the nail too- this helps it not to chip. Let this dry pretty well (about 5 minutes).
Step 3: Apply a thick coat of Gelous. Don't let it dry completely... keep it kinda dewey.
Step 4: Paint your color again (go a little thicker than last time).
Step 5: Once dry... put the top coat on your nails.
Annnnnnd.. VOILA! You have shellac nails!!!
So far I love the way this works! It has lasted for about 2 weeks for me, and I hope it does the same for you!
Enjoy!
xoxo Samantha
